Big Event Fundraising

Many of you are from different towns in the region...and every town seems to have some community wide event. Check and see if you can sell bottled water/pop/gatorade at the event. I am checking with Bloomsday and Hoopfest to see if there are any possibilities. It never hurts to ask. Remember, you are a super responsible teenager trying to earn money to go on an amazing life changing journey....people want to help you make it happen. Advertise what you are trying to earn money for. If I am thirsty and I want to buy water....I will buy from the student who is trying to earn money for an educational adventure...rather than a teen who wants to buy a car.

Another fund-raising Tool from People to People

It may seem crass to ask for gifts, but this is a great way to let people know that instead of traveling to the mall they can help you travel to Europe!

http://invite.peopletopeople.com/give/
It is a way to send e-cards to people who know and love you so that you can ask for their assistance as you raise funds for your trip.
